Client Services Associate – Remote Position (US or China)

We’re looking for a fun, smart and diligent person to join our team as a Client Services Associate. You will be the principal point of contact for sophisticated travel clients including individuals, companies and institutions. You will assist clients with all aspects of tour bookings, travel planning and visa processing. We are looking for someone trustworthy, service-oriented through and through, highly detail oriented, tech savvy and willing to wear many hats. What you’ll do
Manage and take ownership of the client experience, starting from pre-booking all the way through to trip completion
Respond to prospective client inquiries via email and telephone in a professional and timely manner
Process tour bookings, handle client invoicing and billing, and follow up with clients on missing information and reservation information
Prepare and send tailored orientation materials and pre/post trip emails
Coordinate and liaise with ground operations team and suppliers (i.e. airlines, tour guides, and visa agents) to ensure a smooth and seamless trip experience for customers
Cultivate and manage relationships with prospective travelers and follow-up with leads using CRM software (InfusionSoft)
Research and draft travel itineraries and manage database of template itineraries
Maintain an online database of destination information and FAQs
Must be highly detail-oriented, organized and efficient
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be very personable
Must have sound judgment to handle complex travel itineraries and emergencies
Must have a passion to learn and succeed
Must be a team player
Must be tech savvy (in fact, you must love productivity tools)
Must have a passion for travel and the outdoors
